Walnut Bread | Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 0,5 yeast cube
  • 1 tbsp agave syrup
  • 300ml lukewarm water
  • 500g spelt wholegrain flour
  • 0,5 tbsp salt
  • 125g walnuts

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

Mix yeast and agave syrup into the lukewarm water and set aside for 10 minutes.

Pour the flour and salt into a big mixing bowl.

Add the yeast water to the flour bowl and mix until you’ve created a smooth dough. Use your hands or a dough hook.

Coarsely chop walnuts and add to the dough evenly.

Now cover the bread dough and let it rise for 1 hour in a warm spot.

Knead again and place it on a baking tray with parchment paper. Form a round bread and sprinkle it with flour.

Bake for 30 minutes.
